My assignment was to make a silhouette self-portrait. I had to take a picture and download it into my adobe illustrator and start cropping myself out. I was required to have a background and a text, and have two self-portraits. The software I used was illustrator.

How I cropped y image was that I used the pen tool. The text I used on one because it of them was Jazz LET Plain, why I used it was because the silhouette was plain, but had a little spice to it. So I saw that the text was plain but had some detail into it. For my second portrait the text that I used was Mshtaken.It was a fancy cursive writing, it matches my pictures because I rotated my pictures and put a colorful background on it.

The way I cropped my piece shows in interesting composition. I only pt half of my body on there from the waist up and my pose was very interesting like I was the queen of the universe. I think the font went perfect with my silhouette.

I think I did very well on this assignment because my silhouette self-portrait looks jus like me. What I like best about my self-portrait is my picture and my phrase. What new tool and technique I learned was using the pen tool.
