The assignment was to create a Hybrid Animal. I went on Google to see what three animals I can use to combine a animal all in one. I was required to make a background for my animal and put highlights and shadows on the final piece to make it look more real. The software I used was adobe illustrator. For my animal I mostly used the pen tool and color.

The three animals I chose to use was a Gold fish, Lion and a flamingo. The parts I used to complete my hybrid animal was I used the gold fish tale, Lions body and the flamingos neck. What I included on my background was grass and clouds and a sun, so it can look like it was a hot summer day.

How the thee animals represent my personalities is that a Gold Fish is very little just like me. Also friendly like I am and loves to swim and Love being in water. Especially that the fish is gold made it more interesting to me because I’m always covered in gold jewelry. The second animal I chose was a Lion, and why I picked a lion because a lion is very fierce when bothered. That is exactly how I am,. I am very nice to people but if people bother me at the wrong time I get very fierce. My third animal I chose was a Flamingo. Why I chose a flamingo because a flamingo is very unique and different and that’s how I am I like being different and my personality is one of a kind and that’s how I feel about a flamingo.

How I think I did on this assignment was I could’ve done a lot better. I missed a couple days of school because I was sick, so I had to rush on this project. Also I struggled on using the pen tool. But I enjoyed the project because i had a lot of interest on my animals.
